What is Lovendar?

Lovendar app is a fun and easy way to better communicate and organize the things you want to do and try with someone special in your life. Create categories or lists, snap a photo, add description, location & date to transform the image into an idea you’d like your partner to plan or buy for you, privately. Whether it's vacation plans, home decor or date ideas, if it's on Lovendar it's important to you in some way.
We believe that actions speak louder than words. And if you only knew what your partner wanted, you’d act on it. Lovendar enables you tap into each other’s minds and be a hero.

Can I use Lovendar app alone?
The app is designed for two people. You won’t be able to use the app without another person joining you. You’ll get most from your Lovendar experience when you use it with someone special in your life. It just works a whole lot better.

Can I use Lovendar with more than one person at a time?
At this time, you can only be connected with one person at a time. If you would like to use it with someone else, you can disconnect from your current partner from the Settings screen.

What happens to our content when we disconnect?
Your content is archived until you reconnect again. If you would like to delete your content permanently, contact us for further instructions.
For security reasons, we cannot delete an account on behalf of a user. When you delete your account, your photos, comments, buckets, bucket items, (everything) will be removed permanently and will not be recoverable. We cannot reactivate accounts. Additionally, you will not be able to sign up with the same username again.

Where does the name come from?
Everyone uses calendars for one reason or another, but mostly because we need an accountability mechanism to keep things on track. We also realized that people who are genuinely in love want to do things for each other, if they only knew what the other person wants. We love how calendars keep the important information available when we need it most. But when you mix business and love tasks on one calendar: life becomes a bit overwhelming, de-prioritizing love. So we thought, what if we help take all love related tasks out of a business CALENDAR and organized them on a separate LOVE calendar, thus the name LOVENDAR.

How did the idea come about?
We always assume that keeping the other person happy is doing what we ‘think’ they might like. So we continue to guess, often dropping the ball. But as mobile technology got better and better, we decided to create a solution to solve three simple problems:
Gift-giving and date planning is still a painful process for most. We’ve designed an efficient experience to allow your partner add gift or date ideas with details of what, where and when, readily accessible whenever you need it, while keeping the element of surprise.
Managing multiple, decentralized communication channels is time consuming and ineffective - we help you capture an idea once, instantly sharing, organizing and prioritizing it in one place, notifying your partner of new updates automatically.
Your plate is full. Knowing what’s important is key. If it is on Lovendar, it is important to your partner in some way and visa versa. Marking items ‘complete’ creates a meaningful timeline, solidifying your commitment.
Relationships fail not due to lack of intent, but due to lack of consistent effort. Lovendar is the only solution with a clear call to action.

What other services are you compatible with?
Currently, you can capture ideas and share them privately between each other. Going forward, we plan on supporting additional services and sharing capabilities but have nothing else to announce at this time.

How does privacy work?
Everything you share on Lovendar is private between you and your partner. Always. It is important that you read our full Privacy Policy for the full explanation of our privacy practices, including how your information is shared and how you can control and access your information.

How do I delete my account?
You can delete/disable your account by going logging into your account on our website and going to Settings -> clicking on Delete tab in the right hand upper corner.
When you delete your account, your photos, comments, buckets, bucket items, (everything) will be removed permanently and will not be recoverable. We cannot reactivate accounts. Additionally, you will not be able to sign up with the same username again.

How can I print the photos I take with Lovendar?
We save all the photos you capture with Lovendar to your camera roll. You can then sync with your computer and print as many as you'd like.

When are you going to make the app for Adnroid, iPad, Blackberry, Windows Phone 7?
We are currently working on making the iPhone experience as solid as possible. Only then will we consider other platforms, but currently we have nothing to announce.

1. Start using Lovendar by downloading our iPhone app!
To download Lovendar, Simply click here from your mobile browser or visit the Apple App Store.
From your iPhone, tap the App Store icon. In the bottom right corner of your screen, tap Search and type Lovendar into the search bar.
Next, tap the Lovendar icon and then tap Install.
Once the download completes, open the Lovendar app.
2. Register for a Lovendar account
Tap Register if this is your first time creating a Lovendar account. If you already have a Lovendar account, tap Log In to log in using your email address and password. If you forgot your password, please click here.
- Enter your First name
- Enter your valid email address
- Set your Lovendar password and tap Register.
Make sure to enter a valid email address because email is the only way to reset your password and verify your identity.

Congrats!
Your new Lovendar account is registered and active. Welcome to Lovendar!
If you already have a Lovendar account, tap Log In to log in using your email address and password. If you forgot your password, please click here.

Log In to Lovendar
1.) To log in to Lovendar, locate the Lovendar app on your device and tap to open the app. At the moment, Lovendar is only available for mobile devices.
2.) Once the app opens, tap Log In which will reveal an Email Address entry box and a Password entry box.
3.) Enter your Email Address and Password that you used to sign up for Lovendar, and then tap the "Login" button. If you have entered your correct log in information, you will be logged in to your Lovendar account.

Invite your Partner to Lovendar
1.) To invite the special someone, tap the field and look up person’s contact in your phone address book.
2.) Search for your special someone by name or email address in the search bar.
3.) Select the email address of the person you want to invite.
4.) Invite your Contact to Lovendar by tapping the Invite button under the email field.

5.) Personalize your invite with a written note. If you are satisfied with your note, tap the Send button in the upper right-hand corner.

6.) After your invite has been sent successfully, you will be able to see a pending status and the email it's been sent to. You can send notification reminders of your partner's invite by tapping the Resend button or send a personalized SMS message. Additionally, you can revoke and remove your invitation by tapping the Cancel Invite button.

7.) Personalize your invite with a personalized SMS message. If you are satisfied with your SMS note, tap the Send button in the lower right-hand corner.

8.) Once your partner accepts your invite, you will be able to access all Lovendar communication features. Make sure to refresh the screen to see the updated status by tapping a refresh button located in the right upper corner.

9.) To Accept an invitation, tap a check mark to the right of a contact's name. To Decline an invitation tap a X mark to the right of a contact’s name.

For Me Notifications
• A mobile push notification will be sent to you when your partner adds to or updates the list, and vice versa. You can also manage push notification for each individual item.

• If you would like to set up your Lovendar mobile push notifications, you can do so on your device Settings.

• To Turn Off or to Change the way Notifications are displayed, go to iPhone Settings -> Notifications -> Lovendar -> Notifications Center –> Off

Everything on Lovendar is shared between the two of you, privately.
As a relationship guide, we recommend adding ideas to the four default lists:
DATE IDEAS: Add date ideas you find interesting to try.
WISH LIST: Add gift ideas you actually want.
MOMENTS: Capture important moments quickly.
HOT LIST: Add hot items that require partner's immediate attention like errands, household favors, services, etc.
You can create your own list by pulling down on the screen.
1.) To create a new list on Lovendar, begin by pulling down on your Lovendar home-screen.
In addition, you can launch a camera and capture a moment by using a short cut: two-finger tap and hold anywhere in the app.

2.) Enter a List title and tap Done.

3.) Tap a desired list you want to add a wish to.

4.) Pull down on the screen to add a new wish

5.) Enter any of the following details (displayed in order from top-down):
- Item Title (required)
- Photo
- Description /Comment
- Time /Date
- Location /Address Directions /Drop a pin
- Alert Me When Complete
- Hide as a Surprise (hides from your partner's view)

6.) Capture a moment quickly
To capture a moment quickly, tap and hold two fingers anywhere on the screen within your Lovendar app. Lovendar will launch a camera. Then capture a moment which will be automatically saved in your MOMENTS and in Lovendar album on your camera roll.

7.) Hide Items from Partner’s View
To add an invisible item, begin by pulling on the screen to create a bucket item and tapping a box: “Hide this as a Surprise”. You can only hide items you create.
“Hide this as a Surprise” is especially useful if you are planning a special trip or a gift for a special occasion and you want to keep the element of surprise.

8.) To Unhide items from partner's view, double tap an item you want to unhide, then tap "Hide as a surprise" again and save.

To log out from Lovendar account:
1.) Tap a settings wheel in the left hand upper corner to open Settings.

2) Tap an exit sign located in the upper right-hand corner.

3) Tap Log out when prompted. To learn how to log in again, click here.

Share to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest and Foursquare
Currently you can capture ideas, complete them and share them privately between two people. Going forward, we plan on supporting additional services and sharing capabilities but have nothing else to announce at this time.

Edit My Lovendar Profile:
If you would like to edit your First Name, Account Email, Profile Color, Profile Photo and Cover Photo on Lovendar, you can do so in Settings via the Lovendar app.
1.) From your device, beginning from your Lovendar home-screen, tap the settings wheel in the left-hand upper corner tο open Settings.

2.) Within these Settings, you can edit your First Name, Account Email, Profile Color, Profile Photo and Cover Photo.

3.) Сhange Profile Color, tap the color icon, then select desired color from the color wheel.
Each user has its unique profile color which can be seen on top of your cover image as well as around the bucket and bucket items you have created or last updated.

4.) To save and exit your Settings, be sure to tap cover image at the top of the settings page.

Add or Change Profile Picture
1.) From your device, start at your Lovendar home-screen and tap the settings wheel on left top corner which will take you to the Settings Screen.

2.) Tap Camera Icon on the profile avatar located in the left-hand side of the screen.

3.) You can either tap Take New Picture or Choose From Existing to select a photo from your device's photo library.

4.) Tap cover photo to save and exit.

Deactivate, Delete, Reactivate Your Account
If you would like to delete or deactivate your content permanently, log into your account on the web and tap Settings -> Delete.
When you delete your account, your photos, comments, buckets, bucket items, (everything) will be removed permanently and will not be recoverable. We cannot reactivate accounts. Additionally, you will not be able to sign up with the same username again.

Be sure to disconnect from your partner and reset your password to prevent unauthorized access to your shared lists.

Add or Change Your Lovendar Cover Photo
1.) From your device, start at your Lovendar home-screen and tap the settings wheel on left top corner which will take you to the Settings Screen.

2.) Tap Camera Icon located in the lower right-hand corner of the cover photo.

3.) You can either tap Take New Picture or Choose From Existing to select a photo from your device's photo library.

4.) Tap cover photo to save and exit.

Disconnect from Partner
Relationships have ups and downs, and we believe you should be able to restore the content your had at the moment of disconnection.
When you disconnect from partner, all your data is archived. See what happens to your content when you disconnect.
1.) From your device, start at your Lovendar home-screen and tap the settings wheel on left top which will take you to the Settings Screen.

2.) Tap Disconnect From Partner.

3.) To disconnect from partner, tap Disconnect when promoted. Next time your partner wants to connect, you will be prompted to reconnect via push notification.
If you choose to connect with a new partner, none of the content from previous partners will be restored.

Set up Mobile Push Notifications
There are two ways to set and manage your push notifications:
1.) If you would like to set up your Lovendar mobile push notifications, you can do so on your device Settings. See Mobile Push Notifications For Me and My Partner

2.) You can also change your individual push notification for each separate item you create from within your Lovendar account. The creator of the item can enable or disable push notifications for each individual item by checking or un-checking "Alert Me When Complete" button.
By default, each item is set to send a push notification to your partner when you:
- Add an Entry
- Complete an Entry
- Update an Entry
- Delete an Entry

3.) If you do not wish to receive an alert when your partner completes the item, or you do not wish your partner to receive any alerts related to this item, tap the “Alert me when complete” to un-check the box.
Disabling individual alerts is especially useful for frequently used items, like shopping list:

Save Photos to a Camera Roll
1.) We automatically save all the photos you capture with Lovendar to your camera roll in a separate Lovendar album. You can then sync with your computer, across multiple devices, icloud or print as many photos as you'd like.

Change the language Lovendar is set to
Currently the language your Lovendar is set to is English only, but you can create and customize additional list in your own language by changing your iPhone keyboard to a desired language.
The four default buckets: Hot list, Memories, Date Ideas and Wish list - cannot be renamed. These four pre-set system buckets will include additional functionality which we will announce.

Refresh Your Lovendar Lists:
1.) If you would like to refresh your shared Lovendar lists, you can do so by tapping onto the settings wheel in top left corner to open & exit Settings.

Forgot, Reset or Change Your Password
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset your account password through the Lovendar app or the web by clicking here.
Reset your password via the Lovendar app:
1.) After tapping Log In at the welcome screen, please enter your email address and tap forgot password. A link to reset your password will be emailed to you. Please be sure to check your spam folder if you have not received the email.
If you have not received your reset password email, contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

Tell Friends About Lovendar
When you see that Lovendar works for you, you won't want to keep it a secret. You can tell your friends about Lovendar, so their relationship can benefit too. You can always share a download link http://lovendar.com/download with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and other social networks, as well as from inside the Lovendar app.
1.) From your device, start at your Lovendar home-screen and tap the settings wheel on left top corner which will take you to the Settings Screen.

2.) Tap Tell Friends About Lovendar

3.) Search for your friend's email by name or email address in the search bar. Personalize your email with a written note. If you are satisfied with your note, tap the Send button in the upper right-hand corner.

1.) From your device, start at your Lovendar home-screen and tap the settings wheel on left top corner which will take you to the Settings Screen.

2.) Tap See the Tutorial to view and practice.

3.) When finished tap *X to Close and Exit** the tutorial.

Send Lovendar Your Feedback
If you are experiencing an issue with Lovendar, first make sure you have updated to the latest Lovendar build from the App Store.
• If you are running the latest update, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your phone.
• If you are still having the issue, try to restart your phone. If you have done all of these things and the issue continues, or you have an idea you want to share with Lovendar team, you can send us please send us an email by clicking here and we will fix the problem right away.

1.) From your device, start at your Lovendar home-screen and tap the settings wheel on top left corner which will take you to the Settings Screen.

3.) Let us know your thoughts about Lovendar. If you are experiencing an issue, provide us with the following information:
- Detailed description of the issue
- Exact steps to recreate the issue
- Connection type (Wi-Fi, 4G, 3G, Edge)

- Lovendar Verison

Add, Complete, Uncomplete, Move, Delete Lists/ Items
Add a new list
1.) To add a list, pull down on the screen just below the cover image. See Add and Share a list on Lovendar

2.) Enter a title and tap Done. List/item title is required.

Complete a list/item
1.) To complete a list/item, swipe right on the list/item. Then tap Complete when prompted.

3.) The completed list/item will be marked with a green check-mark and moved to the bottom of the list.
Lovendar sorts completed items in the descending order from the date of completion, with the most recent ones being on top.

Un-Complete a list/item
1.) To un-complete list/item (especially useful for shopping list items) - swipe right again on a desired completed list/item and tap "Uncomplete" when prompted. The list/item will automatically move to the top of the list.

2.) Lovendar sorts items by priority, with the most recent or most important being on top. When you "uncomplete" an item, Lovendar automatically moves uncompleted items to the top of the list.

Rearrange lists /items
1.) To rearrange your lists/items in the order of importance, tap and hold a desired list/item, then move it as needed. All changes you make on your list will reflect on your partner's list - its a shared list.
Lovendar does not notify your partner when you move an item or a list. For more on how individual push notifications work, see Set up Mobile Push Notifications.

Delete a list/item
1.) To Delete a desired list/item, swipe left, tap Delete when prompted. Deleted items cannot be restored.

View, Edit, Save Lists and Items
1.) To view a list/item, tap a desired item on your screen.

2.) To view a photo(s) attached to the item, tap a photo, then swipe horizontally left or right to view attached photos, then tap Done to close.
You can add this event to your calendar by tapping the time and date.
Tap the address to get directions.

2.) To Edit a list, double tap a desired list. Make changes and tap Done
The title for system lists: HOT LIST, WISH LIST, DATE IDEAS and MOMENTS, cannot be changed. They will contain additional functionality.

3.) To Edit an item, double tap a desired item. Or tap an item to view, then tap Edit icon located in the right-hand upper corner on the screen.

4.) To Save changes, tap the check-mark icon on the upper right-hand corner on the screen.
To cancel, tap the X icon on the upper left-hand corner on the screen

Add, Capture, Attach, Remove Location in an Item
Whenever you get inspired about a place you want to revisit together, capture it with Lovendar to remember and remind you.
1.) To Add/Capture/Attach Location to the item, double tap to edit a desired item, tap Current Location to automatically capture current location or type the address manually in the field provided next to Capture Location icon, then tap check mark in the upper right-hand corner on the screen to Save & Exit.

2.) To Remove Location from the item, double tap to edit a desired item, tap Current Location again to remove current location or tap X to remove address from the field provided next to Capture Location icon, then tap "check mark" in the upper right-hand corner on the screen to Save & Exit.

Add, Capture, Upload, Attach Photos to an Item
Pictures worth a million words. Whether its a dress you saw at Macy's, a beautiful chandelier for your future home, a cute little restaurant with an amazing view, a necklace you discovered that can only be found in a little boutique around the corner, the best way to communicate exactly what you want is to take a picture of it and grab it's location. There are two ways to capture photo:
1. Add a New Item to Capture / Upload / Attach Photo
Tap a desired list where you want to save a photo. Add new item by pulling down on the screen. Next, tap camera icon to capture a photo. Then Tap "Check-mark" to save it.

2. Tap and Hold Two Fingers To Quickly Capture a Photo
To capture a moment/photo quickly, tap and hold two fingers anywhere on the screen inside the Lovendar app. Lovendar will launch a camera. Then capture a moment/photo which will be automatically saved into your MOMENTS and in Lovendar album in your camera roll.

Unread, New, Updated Item Count
1.) When your partner adds new or updates existing items, you will see a number of Unread Items associated with each list. Tap the list to view unread items. Once viewed, the number will no longer be there.

2.) You can easily identify unread items by bold title. All new or updated unread items will be in bold font.
Newly added items will be on top of the list, while existing updated items should be same place as before also in bold (unless partner rearranged them). Once viewed by you, the title should change to a normal size font.
To help you stay on top of the most recent items your partner added, Lovendar is designed to show the unread item count instead of the total item count.

Clip a Webpage to a Note
1.) If you found your inspiration via a browser, such as a recipe you want to share, take a screen shot of the image, capture a new photo or search bing for images.

2.) Hold Off button while pressing Home button as the same time. Taking a screen shot on the iPhone automatically saves them to your camera roll.

3.) Copy the link from the source by tapping Select All in the address bar, then Copy.

4.) Double tap the Home button, then tap Lovendar app icon to switch between apps.

5) Open the desired item to which you want to attach the web clip. Then tap the camera icon to upload the image from your camera roll. Move and Scale to crop the image. Then tap Choose.

6.) Tap the field you want to paste the link to, the paste the list from a clip board.

7.) Add more details as needed, then tap the check mark in the upper right corner to Save and Exit

Look-up iPhone Version
In order to help us troubleshoot, please include the iPhone iOS (operating system) version and Lovendar version in your feedback.
1.) Start by tapping Settings on your device's home screen.

2.) Tap General, then tap About, Version should list your software version as a number (e.g., 5.1.1).

Look up Lovendar Version

1.) The best way to capture the iOS and Lovendar versions is to send us Feedback from inside the app.

Forgot, Reset or Change Your Password
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset your account password through the Lovendar app or the web by clicking here.
Reset your password via the Lovendar app:
1.) After tapping Log In at the welcome screen, please enter your email address and tap forgot password. A link to reset your password will be emailed to you. Please be sure to check your spam folder if you have not received the email from Customer Service. Click here to make sure that Lovendar password reset messages aren't sent to junk folder.
If you have not received your reset password email, and you followed the instructions provided here, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

2.) To view a photo(s) attached to the item, tap a photo, then swipe horizontally left or right to view attached photos, then tap Done to close.

2.) Lovendar sorts items by priority, with the most recent or most important being on top. When you "uncomplete" an item, Lovendar automatically moves uncompleted items to the top of the list.

Rearrange lists /items
1.) To rearrange your lists/items in the order of importance, tap and hold a desired list/item, then move it as needed. All changes you make on your list will reflect on your partner's list - its a shared list.
Lovendar does not notify your partner when you move an item or a list. For more on how individual push notifications work, see Set up Mobile Push Notifications.

Delete a list/item
1.) To Delete a desired list/item, swipe left, tap Delete when prompted. Deleted items cannot be restored.

I uninstalled my Lovendar application - Did I lose all my lists?
No, you did not lose your lists by uninstalling/updating your Lovendar application.
Once you reinstall and log back into your account, all your moments will be present as long as you or your partner did not disconnect from each other!

Lovendar App is Malfunctioning
If you are experiencing an issue with Lovendar, first make sure you have updated to the latest Lovendar build from the App Store.
• If you are running the latest update, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your phone.

Lovendar Lists for Desktop or Web
At the moment, you can only access your Lovendar Lists from an iPhone device. Going forward, we plan on supporting desktop and web access to your shared lists but have nothing else to announce at this time.

Download the Latest Version of Lovendar
• You can download the latest version of Lovendar by visiting http://lovendar.com/download from your iPhone device.
• From your iPhone, you can also tap the App Store icon on your home screen and then tap the Updates button in the bottom right corner of your screen. Next, tap the Update the button to the right of the Lovendar app.

List View Not Displaying Any Results
If you are experiencing an issue with viewing your shared Lovendar lists/items, first make sure you refresh your lists, then log out and log back in.

iPhone Video Capturing/Uploading Not Supported
At the moment, we do not support video capturing/uploading capability on iPhone device, please send us a message if you would like our team to implement this feature. Even so, attaching photos to your list items on iPhone is functional.

Minimum iOS Device Requirements
At the moment, Lovendar is only compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 4.3

Giving Lovendar Photo Album Access (iOS only)
iOS 5
To allow photo permissions for iOS 5, please go to your iPhone Settings>Location Services. Scroll down to Lovendar and toggle the Lovendar switch to ON. This will stop you from receiving the prompt when attempting to upload photo moments from your Camera Roll.
iOS 6
To allow photo access for Lovendar on iOS 6, please go to your iPhone Settings, then Privacy>Photos>and then toggle on access for Lovendar.

Giving Lovendar Location Access Permission (iOS only)
iOS 5
To allow location permissions for iOS 5, please go to your iPhone Settings> Location Services. Scroll down to Lovendar and toggle the Lovendar switch to ON. This will stop you from receiving the prompt when attempting to capture location from your List Item or Capturing your Photo Moments.
iOS 6
To allow location access for Lovendar on iOS 6, please go to your iPhone Settings, then Privacy> Location Services> and then toggle the Lovendar switch to On.

"Invite a Partner" through contacts is blank (iOS only)
If clicking on the address book contact icon in the "Invite your Partner" field returns you to a blank screen you need to allow Lovendar contacts permissions in your iPhone settings.
Please go to your iPhone Settings > Privacy > Contacts, scroll down to Lovendar and toggle ON. This will allow Lovendar access to your contacts so you can find and invite your partner.

To make sure Lovendar messages aren't sent to your spam or junk folder, try adjusting your filters to always receive emails from trusted email domains like Lovendar.com
Below is the list of providers with simple instructions on how to add a domain to your safe senders list. If your email provider is not listed here, ask them directly.
For Gmail:
- Click the Create a filter link (next to the Search the Web button at the top of any Gmail page).
- Type "lovendar.com" into the From field.
- Click Next Step.
- Check the box next to "Never send it to Spam". If you'd like to apply this filter to messages already in Gmail, select the box next to "Also apply filter to X conversations below".
- Click Create Filter.
For Hotmail:
- Click Options and then More Options.
- Under Preventing junk email, click "Safe and blocked senders".
- Click Safe senders.
- Type "lovendar.com" and click Add to list.
For Outlook:
- Click Actions, then click Junk E-mail, and then click Junk E-mail Options.
- Click the Safe Senders tab.
- Click Add and type "lovendar.com".
- Click OK and then click Apply.
For Yahoo!Mail
- Click the Options link at the top of the page.
- Click Mail Options.
- Click Filters on the left and then click the Add + button.

You should get an automated response email from Lovendar Customer Service after you ask for help with your password or contact us through Help Center.
If you don't see an automated response:
- Look in your email account's junk or spam folder.
- Check other emails addresses associated with you Lovendar account.
If you can't find the automated response we sent, you may need to adjust your email settings:
- Temporary turn off any spam or junk mail filters.
- Add Lovendar.com as a trusted email domain in your emails's address book.
- Add Lovendar.com as a contact (for password reset messages)
After adjusting your email settings:
If you contacted us through the Help Center:
- Go to the Help Center and submit your inquiry again.
For password help:
- Click Forgot password again.
- If you still don't see a password reset message from us, click Forgot password again and enter a different email address.

Possible reasons why you may not have received a verification email include:
Bulk or Junk Folder
Verification emails may be filtered directly into your email program's bulk or junk mail folder. Your ISP or corporate domain may be configured to deliver commercial mail to this folder by default. If you do not find the email in this folder, try adding this email address to your safe sender list: "admin@lovendar.com".
Note: Once you have added the email address to your safe sender list, please request another verification email to be sent to that address.
Blocked or Bounced Address
If you tried to verify a specific email address but did not receive the verification email, your ISP or corporate domain may have blocked the email. Try adding Lovendar.com as a trusted email domain. Although Lovendar.com averages a very low block rate of around 3%, it is possible that your email address may be part of that 3%.
If you still have not received any Lovendar.com emails, try registering an alternative email address or get help.
Role Address
Because multiple people may have access to a role email address, it is best to use a personal email address for your contact and billing address. Some role addresses can be verified, but many cannot.
Typo
Check to make sure the email address is spelled correctly. If not, verify the address with the correct spelling.
Note: If our verification system does not recognize the email, which means that you have register with an incorrect email initially, try registering with the correct email again.

- Log into your email account with the address you would like us to verify.
- Create an email with the following Subject line: "Verify for [insert your Lovendar.com email]".

Check your order confirmation for an estimated shipping date. Your first Lovendar Box will arrive the month after you place your initial subscription order. For example, if you place your order in April (between 4/1 and 4/30), you'll receive your first box in May.
All Lovendar Boxes ship from Chicago facilities by the 10th of every month; your Lovendar Box will arrive an estimated 5-10 business days after it's shipped.
Lovendar only ships to USA residents. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

We charge shipping fees for the monthly Lovendar Box. And that's it!
There are NO handling or cancelation fees. You can cancel any time! NO strings attached.

When you place your order for the monthly membership, you will be billed for your first Lovendar Box immediately. For the months to follow, you will be billed on the first day of each month.

All annual subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each 12-month period, so that you'll never miss a Lovendar Box (except gift subscriptions - see next question for details)! You can opt out of auto-renewal at any time from within your account.

If you have a gift subscription, it will be terminated after you receive your Lovendar Box in the last month of your subscription (i.e. if you have a 6-month gift subscription, it will be canceled after you receive your 6th box). After you receive your last box, you can re-subscribe and become a regular recurring subscriber. Just go to Lovendar.com/join

Monthly members can cancel their Lovendar Box membership at any time. There are no cancellation fees. Simply log into your Account and go to Settings and find 'Unsubscribe' under Settings. Click 'Unsubscribe' to cancel. You can also contact us to cancel.
Yearly subscribers and gift subscriptions are discounted products and are not eligible for cancellations. However, they may choose to opt out of auto-renew by clicking the 'Opt Out of Auto Renewal' link on their Paypal Account page. This link is available during the final month of your annual subscription. This will prevent your annual subscription from automatically renewing at the end of the year.
Re-billing occurs on the first of each month after you receive your first Lovendar Box. If you would like to cancel your subscription, make sure to send in your cancellation request before 12 AM Eastern Standard Time on the last day of the month, otherwise you will continue to be billed for the next month.

We hope you do! But if you don't, or there are damaged contents please tell us! Feedback is important to us and we promise to respond and replace the items - no questions asked.
You can also return the Lovendar Box within 30 days from the day we ship the Box (without tempering with the contents) and we will issue a complete refund! However, if the contents have been tempered with, or the Lovendar Box is returned past the 30-day period, we will be unable to issue the refund.
Every month is a different experience you will discover. There is something in Lovendar Box for everyone, so do not rush to cancel, give us a chance to bring you the things you do like.

Unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee that your Lovendar box won't contain any specific products or ingredients. Because we take allergies seriously and we don't want to over-promise and under-deliver, we can no longer accommodate allergies. We understand if that makes it hard for you to begin or continue our service, but we hope you'll stick with it and we encourage you to give the occasional trouble products away to a friend!
If you do have known allergies to certain products/ingredients, we highly suggest that you first check the product's ingredients before you use it.
